I have one good thing to report. My daughter in law Vicki, who is married to my son Marc, won $10,000 Sunday night at their church festival. The kicker is that they bought a new house Friday night, and the owner wanted $10,000 more than they offered but they went ahead with it anyway, figuring it was worth the money. She appraises real estate full time and sells real estate on the side, part time. So that was pretty good news and excellent timing. Marc is a firefighter and was at work and one of his friends called him from the festival and told him that she had won.
