Hi All!

Just spoke to my DC "person" and my selling dealership.
I will be definitely getting one of the last Prowlers made. From what I am told they will be limited to 500. I am requesting No 1, but have a guarantee on up to No 25. They will try to get No. 1 for me- At this time I can't say any details now but, I will love it. There is one rumor that I have hear, some parts will be chromed. That is all I was told. Anyway, I have something to look forward to, which is what keep me going through all my ordeals.

Anyone else find that hard to believe? I guess you are gonna have your close friend at DC pin stripe it aswell, will you also put on one of the chrome bumpers you have?

This is Sassy's husband.

I have taken enough of the sarcasm from some of the members here about my wife. All she does is offer helpful information.

LOOKING FORWARD TO THE DREAM CRUISE TO MEET SOME OF YOU

Hi JD
2002 will be out this fall so I think by late next summer I hope to see it. I don't put anything past DC. They might cut the plug tomorrow???

I remember when the Viper was first announced. There was a large Chrysler dealership that pre-sold them. Took early orders. I know one person that paid in full for one of the early ones. Well, when they finally arrived, the demand skyrocketed the price to 150K for the very first ones. The dealer wanted to back out. There was a big stink in the Detroit media news, anyway the person won and got his Viper.

An order is an order no matter when it comes out. And of course paper helps.

I suspect the price will be inflated by the dealers like when the Prowler first came out. Yet further I would not be at all surpised if DC significantly increases the MSRP.

This is Jerry, chromes alter ego, and I do not care if "Sassy" has a husband or not, she is pathalogic in her tales. I'll believe it when I see, her dob, drivers lic #, photographed next to this mythological car. The sales order, purchase order, a check, the cancelled check from DC, written deposition questions answered in front of a notary, a polygraph exam, a signed affidavit with at least 5 witnesses, warranty info in her name, pictures of the car, the number plate from the car with DC production info, and a partridge in a pear tree!

Oh and by the way, My DC rep has told me I will be getting the first viper powered prowler in candy apple red, the paint is 100 coats painted by virgins in a remote location, the car is then shipped back to DC where it will be made with big giant CHROME letters for the bumpers, that say
B \/ S. The engine could actually power two vipers as it is DC's new 20 cylinder motor with an after burner installed. The exhuast pipes are shaped in the form of a pretzel, and actually rotate. It will also come with lazy boy reclining seats, with a 42 inch falt screen plasma display, the wheels are 46 inch rears with 30's in the front, it will do 100 mph in 1 second. The brakes are made from recycled space shuttle tiles, the cooling system was developed by nasa to cool the space shuttle on lift off, it can reduce the temp in the cabin from 120 degrees to 38 below zero in 4 seconds(With the top up) and 8 second top down. It will have a hard top and soft top. The hard top is clear plastic, and the soft top is made of russian sable. It will also have an electronic moon roof with an actual connection to the mars probe. The sound system will be an am, 8 track, with 1 speaker. But the speaker is mounted on the hood facing backward capable of producing 10000 watts of jaw dropping sound. The lights will be roman candles. Last but not least the entire cabin will be made of high tech scratch resistent platinum, with a brushed look. Oh I also forgot the BS DETECTOR mounted in the souround rear view mirrors.

I second Mr. Chrome's comments and feelings along the lines of this original post. I thought said person had gone the way of FMITBT ?! Just another in a string of broken promises I suppose ... Hope all who attend the Dream Cruise take LOTS of photos. It's a real shame that a "certain DC exec" has left this board ... would be interesting to hear if he was chuckling after reading about all these "facts".
