Cathi has a conference in Dallas in April, thinking of taging along with her. Looking for areas of interest to see while we are there. Anyone have any suggestions? Probably will have 2 days for sightseeing and then a couple of evenings. Hope you can help us out. Thanks, Jim |

JIM, there is a lot to do here in DFW area (#2 convention place in us) ,which hotel are you staying? lots of great places to eat and a lot to do during the day.here is short list. JFK museum west end market ,Dallas museum of arts,fair park,Neiman Marcus(down town Dallas ) deep elm (night clubs) Las colinas,Texas stadium ( city of Irving) ft.worth stock yard ,Billy bob's,sundance square(down town ft.worth) south fork ranch (plano) is just to name a few things let me know what dates and I will be glad to help while you are here. we might even get a cruise planned. we meet 2nd saturady of each month you can come out and meet everyone if the dates work out .e-mail me your address and I will mail you a city guide. ------------------ davidn

Davidn: I think we fly out morning of April 17, head home April 22. I will e-mail you info. Appreciate any info you can give. Alleycat: Have had my share of wild helicopter rides to offshore drilling rigs. Nothin much bothers me anymore. Nothin like being picked up by crane, standing on billy pugh,then swinging over the ocean, 200' in the air, drop straight down on a crew boat with 25-30' seas, 50 mph wind gusts and just the lites on the crew boat to see by. Land on the boat and hope to he%% you grab ahold of something before you wind up overboard. Jim ------------------ |

Alleycat, One thing I have learned, I will not stand on the cliff edges at Grand Canyon with CJ around. Got in big trouble doing that. Sorry CJ. ------------------ |
