I saw it last night but it has probably been on before. A guy took a trip from Chicago to Cal. on Rt. 66 in a Viper and showed different highlights of the trip. They talked aobut how many Germans and Japanese travel it, always from Chicago west, never eastbound. They know more about it than most Americans from the Grapes of Wrath, etc. It was an interesting show. It was narrated by Peter Fonda.

Also and interesting website tour easily found searching "route 66". some good photos and narrative. Saw a story in the paper over the weekend that a hefty sized slab of the original "66" is being shipped east as part of a timeless memorial. Will always to great to say "I got some kicks on route 66." ------------------ OUT OF THE CRATE STOCK..FOR NOW!
