Does it seem like our hairline recedes a tad
faster while cruisin' the Kat with the top
down and not wearing a cap?......and what IS
the secret to keeping your cap from blowing
off your head above 75 mph. I've lost a total
of 4 since I've purchase my Kat.

Women don't have receding hairlines, MP!! Try a bungee cord!!!!!!

I cut my hair short so I don't have to worry about messing up my hair when I drive convertibles!!!!!

If it's a baseball cap, turn the brim to the rear. If it's anything else, you're too old !

I have never even come close to having my hat blow off in the cat. I have lost a few on the motorcycle, but not lately. Have you lowered the seat? Maybe it is because I have a chin strap on my ball cap!!!

MidLife - Do you still have sunvisors on cat? If so, do not have them vertically up while driving - as this causes a air surge coming from the outer edges coming into interior. Leave them on a level plane position to avoid this problem. Also, shut off outside air vent on right side on panel, which causes slight updraft inside. I have never lost a hat yet.

Larry Lord's advice, since he will not post on this subject, is to NEVER lift up your head over windshield frame to look at front suspension or tires while driving 90 plus MPH, with a hat on! DC is now considering adding this important safety info into the next Owners Manual. WARNING: this can be hazardous to your hat AND the Prowler following close behind you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hope this helps!

My advice,
Windows up, seat at lowest position, don't look up, assume cruise position and most of all be VERY aware of who's behind you!

Above 115 mph, hang on to hat or remove, no matter what!

Buy a replica German helmet with chin strap like the one that sits on Colonel Klinks desk from Hogans Heroes. Protection from the sun and vehicle rollovers.

OK

anyone that drives their car with he TOP DOWN & WINDOWS UP.needs to put their car on ebay NOW

I told my daughter I would sell her convertible if I seen her drive with the top down and windows up. SUCH GEEKS

Now who's silver is in Andrews Calender by the lake with he TOP DOWN & Windows up. I expect to see it on e bay tomorrow hehehehe

I do not wear hats often but with baseball cap make sure it is tight and the bill is down.

Cowboy Hats always had strings to keep them on their head in the old westerns. Might try and find a hat like that.

Mayes,

Step outside, buddy, lets get ready to rumble. hehe I know who you are taking a shot at.

I agree with you about the windows down on any other vehicle in the world.
But the Prowler looks better with the windows up with the top down, BUDDY.

There is absolutely no excuse for driving any convertible with the top down and windows up. I agree with Larry, the offending car should immediately be confiscated.

I agree, windows should be down! Hey, what's
the coldest anyone's driven with the top down. I've acclimated myself down to 44 degrees. Am I crazy or what?

MidlifeProwler,

You need to move to SoCal, sounds like you would fit right in, that is a liitle cold out here.

But when I first moved out here I laughed at everyone wearing down clothing in the winter and I was in shorts and t-shirt. But that didn't last long for me. I haven't had shorts on for the last 7 weeks burr, it's cold.
