....I have had 2 new yelo Vette convs in the last few years, but I don't think I care for it on this....this was a real Z06 before the conversion......

I agree with you on the yellow. I love yellow, but it doesn't do anything for me on the '53 though.

Um, Chevy never made C5 Z06 Convertibles....

they do the convertable conversion on Z06 hardtops before they do the rest of the work.....they just cut the tops right off and then install all the convertable hardware....ads about $14K to the price of the 1953 conversion.....thay have made several 1953 C5 Z06 convertable conversions......so, yes it was and still is a real Z06......

Conversion is aces in itself but some colors do play a preference to others without a doubt.
I kinda like the yellow....still prefer the white car.Black would certainly look stellar!
