Seems Kerry is having a little problem keepin his story straight all of a sudden....

From MSNBC transcript of the Brokaw/Kerry interview, October 28th, 2004:

Brokaw: Someone has analyzed the President's military aptitude tests and yours, and concluded that he has a higher IQ than you do.

Kerry: That's great. More power. I don't know how they've done it, **because my record is not public**. So I don't know where you're getting that from.

How is it that his records are not public, when he's maintained all along that his complete Military Record was on his website?

From Kerry's website, April 21,2004:

April 21, 2004
Kerry Military Records Online
For Immediate Release

Washington, DC - The Kerry Campaign announced today that online at www.johnkerry.com are the official Naval records and the after-action combat reports that are part of the public record at the Naval Historical Center, Operational Archives Branch in Washington, DC.

What follows is a summary list of the pages on the website and a summary of the after-action combat reports.

The direct address for the official Naval records is: http://www.johnkerry.com/about/john_kerry/military_records.html

The direct address for the after-action combat reports is: http://www.johnkerry.com/about/john_kerry/combat_reports.html

WHAT? You mean you didn't sign the form 180 releasing ALL your military records? YOU DON'T SAY!

Apparently the senator was so rattled by the question put to him by Tom Brokaw regarding President Bush's IQ having been determined to be higher than his own, he forgot he'd been claiming ALL of his records had been released. Mr. Brokaw, being a professional main stream (read: faithful liberal) journalist, chose not to notice the contradiction. (I'm Shocked. Shocked.)

My records were released before they weren't released. We get it.
