Hello to our Prowler Family... We are blessed by the Lord everyday & everyway. The Lord also gives us challenges. Last Aug 20, 2004, he challenged our will and strength with Rena's lung cancer diagnosis Then Last Oct 9, 2004, the Lord warmly cradled and lovingly carried my wife (of 31 years) to that idyllic heavenly place. She turned just 54 years old last 9/11/04.

Somehow, the Lord kept the news from us since April 2004 when Rena had a lil' innocent cough. She never smoked!
That enabled us to go to many NorCal Prowler runs, a June EuroMed cruise, set up a July summer family reunion, Reno's Hot August Nights, etc. We would hook up with danzin frenz on weekends. Fun it was!

Anyways, Life goes on. Rena had fond memories of many NorCal FunRuns. She enjoyed our Prowler brother & sisters' sweet company. We surely met many great newfound friends i.e. JD, Curtis, Scott C, Rich, Phil, Jane, Bob, Holly, Linda, Al, Dick, Doug, Jack, Diane, William and others. Grief recovery will be tough but many loved ones and friends flock & give us support in every way. Thanks to Bob & Holly Harder for their hearty message. Our best wishes to Curtis. Hang in there buddy.

To all... Let's be Alive... when we're still Alive!

Appreciatively,

E. Aliga, Island Prowla'

Hang in there. Things will be tough for awhile but you seem to have a lot of great memories so that has to ease the pain, somewhat. Our prayers are with Rena, you and your family. My sincerest condolences on your loss.

My Thanks to our Prowler family. This is one valued association where strangers are really friends who are waiting to be met. She and I felt it in all our Prowler interactions. Your replies are uplifting and appreciated. Life's too short, indeed. Let's live it to da'max... the Prowler way.

God is Love,
Love is God

I asked God why Rena is missing in our lives.
God said, No. We share Rena... but her love, heart & soul
remains IN ALL OF YOU to share with others.

I asked God to please take away our pain.
God said, No. It is not for me to take away,
but for you all to strengthen & give it up.

I asked God to please grant us patience.
God said, No. Patience is a byproduct of tribulations;
it isn't granted, it must be learned by all.

I asked God to please give us happiness.
God said, No. I give all of you daily blessings.
Happiness and doing it are all up to you.

I asked God to please spare us the suffering.
God said, No. Suffering draws you apart from worldly
cares and brings all of you closer to me.

I asked God to please make our spirit grow.
God said, No. All of you must grow on your own,
but I will prune you to make you fruitful.

I asked for all things that we might enjoy life.
God said, No. I will give you life so that you all may
enjoy all things and live to the fullest.

I ask God to say our Thank You to others.
God said, No. I gave you all the ability and most
importantly the heart to express it on your own.

I ask God to help us LOVE others
as much as He loves us.
God said... Ahhhh, finally you ALL have the idea.

I read once that the memories of loved ones who have passed are like "the Spring flowers in the Winters of our lives."

Sounds like you have a lot of flowers!

God Bless You.

....where strangers are really friends who are waiting to be met.... What a true and wonderful statement! You and I have not met but I am saddened by this chapter of your life, but I can tell by the faith in your words that you will get through this. I hope to meet you at a POA event someday. Be strong and keep the faith. Your friend in the wings. Jeff

I am so sorry to hear of your loss.

I know the pain you are feeling having lost my wife of 15 years and the mother of my boys a little over 9 years ago at age 40 to Acute Leukemia and medical malpractice.

If you would ever like to talk let me know I am also in Northern California.

Borrowing a quote from friend BlockBuster.."how about a great round of applause for them, thanks again POA my extended family." Indeed, I'm thoroughly impressed with the nice response from MY POA bros & sis during this tough grieving process. I had a nice uplifting talk with Curtis as well.

Also quoting POA bro Charles W, " Whenever you need a few pretty Gold Prowlers to fill your driveway let us know and we will cruise your way. .. Or whenever you want to put your beautiful Prowler on the road you are welcome at our home or we can meet somewhere along the way for breakfast, lunch, dinner or just good conversation. Keep it touch!!! your Inca Gold brother Charles"

Another POA bro William H also extended his embrace by hooking us up together with 7-10 Cats at the upcoming Good Guys Autumn Show (Nov13-14) here at Pleasanton CA Fairgrounds. Holla if U R coming.

Grief recovery counseling? Who needs it when U have super & awesome POA FamilyFrenz. Admittedly, my blue cat "222COOL" looked super snazzy with Rena in the passenger seat, but the Lord wanted me to share her in heaven.

Thanx to ALL. Least I could do is name & acknowledge: DrProwler, Glenn, CJ, Bob, idive, SirReal, blubyu, BeWare, TytaniumK, RandyC, 01Prowler, T.U.I.Blue, AlleyCat, EddieP. EdM, TomS, MartyM and others. Someday, I gotta meet y'all & experience you TRUE FRIENDSHIPS. Meanwhile, U R all getting my e-hugs.
