Jerry - are you in the know?? Do you know when the SRT10 quad cabs are being built & shipped? The brochure I have says "late arrival". Wondering what that means. Thanks. Ron

I thought I read somewhere that the quadcab SRT-10 will ONLY have an automatic (I could be wrong though)

Will having an automatic give this truck some towing capability.

Al - that was a misprint. Here's what is in Bernie's ad:

"6 SPD Manual Transmission"

YF - you quoted me,,,,I wasn't asking about an automatic tranny for the Ram Quad STR10 truck,,,,I'm talking about the Viper roadster.

Rich - good question

I am certain that I read that this truck will have a towing capacity. That got us excited about the truck. They told us at PTS that the Viper drive train was never intended to tow; the transmission is the key for sure.

7500 lb towing capacity I believe. I'll look it up when I get home - they had a small announcement about it in Hot Rod Magazine last month.
