For those that say we should never have gone and they were never a threat, read what the Soviet leader said.Putin appeared to be backing Bush's assertion that Iraq was a threat, saying at a summit in Kazakhstan, "that Russia had notified Washington about intelligence that Saddam Hussein's regime was preparing attacks in the United States and its interests abroad. " I say, better on their shores then on ours again!!!!!

Then why didn't he back us at the U.N? The people of Iraq deserve to be a free people, the problem is Sadam was more of a threat to the oil rich countries then us. Those and other countries just set back and let the U.S do all the dirty work while they benefit from our loses. Let's be honest here, Sadam himself was a easy target...there are bigger threats then Sadam was so why didn't Bush order an attack on them? Like I said, the people Iraq deserve to be free but those other countries need to pitch in...if not let them drink there fu----g oil. JMO Al

Yeah, and we could afford to sit back and stick our heads in the sand and hope nothing was going on. When it comes to security, it's like the man says " we can't be wrong but once". Of course the libs can whine either way...
