Chrysler is the sponsor of the PGA Tour event here in Greensboro.

Chrysler product displays are all over the property. On platforms over lakes, at clubhouse at tee boxes, etc.

The winner, Brent Geiberger, got a silver 300C as well as a check for $828,000 for the win.

Justin Rose also won a 330M for a hole in one.

Chrysler had a display of the 300C convertible and an Atlantic. Here are pixs of the 300C convertible. Pixs of the Atlantic will follow.

I wish they'd build the Atlantic. I'd buy that one in a heartbeat.

I have never understood why automakers build incredible looking concept cars and then (for the most part) never build them. What exactly is the point????

Totally agreed....did you see the Viper Coupe that's scheduled for production!
What happened to the GTSR concept than resembled the Comp-Coupe?

I have loved the looks of the Atlantic from the first time I saw it. I'd sure would like to have one. If I remember right the concept has a straight eight engine. Two 4 cyl's in line. We sold a lot of Pontiacs in the 40's and early 50's with a straight eight engines. They weren't quick off the line but they had lots of torque. If you held the foot-feed to the floor, they would just keep winding.

Randy,

Thanks for the photos of the Atlantic; I too wish they would build it.

I'd buy an Atlantic if they made them.

It was interesting hearing comments.

Most people loved both cars. They thought the 300C was more practical, but the Atlantic was cooler.

Many commented that they thought the Atlantic should have more horsepower than 325.

Both of these beautiful vehicles were built by Metalcrafters from the ground up. I really wish DCX would build the 300C convertible as well.

I can't wait for the pictures to show up!!! I wish they would bring the Atlantic back here for an outside viewing. It was here once at one of their local proving ground deals, but was stuck in the corner of a small dark tent with no room to get good pictures. NICE looking car! I'd buy it! Didn't know til I saw it up close that it has a back seat. (At least it looked like it did, if I remember right...)

I have the pictures. They were here last night when I got home. You still can't see them? That is really weird.

No, still not showing for me. I can see some, but the ones that I couldn't see before are still not showing for me. Are they showing for you now?

Sorry about the pixs that didn't show guys.

As you can see, I was trying to post them. It must have been something I was doing wrong.

The subsequent posts that came through OK are mainly repeats of those in the first 2 that did not.
