Well, I was able to break the rear glass in my '02 Sebring while putting the top down and "sucking in" a golf club from a bag in the back seat. A quick internet check indicates just a rear portion of the top can be replaced to fix the glass. I don't see how this is possible, so I was wondering what you all may know about this. Anyone have experience in this type of repair?
Thanks.
Kevin

i could be wrong ,but i believe the top and glass come as one piece,i dont think i would want them to replace just a section even if its possible.best bet is to call mopar and see if the glass can be bought seperate.if so have areputable top shop do it,i dont think you can replace just the glass,is your top vinyl or fabric.

Not sure about the Sebring, but on my Mustang conv the glass was separate. When my top was replaced they used the existing glass.

Had a 2002 Sebring convertible, the dealer under warranty wanted to replace the rear glass due to the defroster not working. The glass was available without top.

No way I would let them. I told them several times it was a weak ground connection....pulled the ground wire off the glass and soldered it back. The defroster worked fine from then on.
