Ponder this ...

If this is wrong please let me know. As far as I can remember it seems right to me.

I'm trying to get all this political stuff straightened out in my head
so I'll know how to vote come November. Right now, we have one guy
saying one thing. Then the other guy says something else. Who do we
believe? Lemme see; have I got this straight?

Clinton awards Halliburton no-bid contract in Yugoslavia - good... Bush
awards Halliburton no-bid contract in Iraq - bad...

Clinton spends 77 billion on war in Serbia - good..
Bush spends 87 billion in Iraq - bad...

Clinton imposes regime change in Serbia - good...
Bush imposes regime change in Iraq - bad...

Clinton bombs Christian Serbs on behalf of Muslim Albanian terrorists-
good... Bush liberates 25 million from a genocidal dictator - bad...

Clinton bombs Chinese embassy - good...
Bush bombs terrorist camps - bad...

Clinton commits felonies while in office - good...
Bush lands on aircraft carrier in jumpsuit - bad...

No mass graves found in Serbia - good...
No WMD found Iraq - bad...

Stock market crashes in 2000 under Clinton - good...
Economy on upswing under Bush - bad...

Clinton refuses to take custody of Bin Laden - good...
World Trade Centers fall under Bush - bad...

Clinton says Saddam has nukes - good...
Bush says Saddam has nukes - bad...

Clinton calls for regime change in Iraq - good...
Bush imposes regime change in Iraq - bad...

Terrorist training in Afghanistan under Clinton - good...
Bush destroys training camps in Afghanistan - bad...

Milosevic not yet convicted - good...
Saddam turned over for trial - bad...

Ahh, it's so confusing!

Every year an independent tax watchdog group analyzes the average tax
burden on Americans, and then calculates the "Tax Freedom Day". This is
the day after which the money you earn goes to you, not the government.
This year, tax freedom day was April 11th. That's the earliest it has
been since 1991. Its latest day ever was May 2nd, which occurred in
2000. Notice anything special about those dates?

Recently, John Kerry gave a speech in which he claimed Americans are
actually paying more taxes under Bush, despite the tax cuts. He gave no
explanation and provided no data for this claim.

Another interesting fact: Both George Bush and John Kerry are wealthy
men. Bush owns only one home, his ranch in Texas. Kerry owns 4 mansions,
all worth several million dollars. (His ski resort home in Idaho is an
old barn brought over from Europe in pieces. Not your average A-frame).

Bush paid $250,000 in taxes this year; Kerry paid $90,000. Does that
sound right? The man who wants to raise your taxes obviously has
figured out a way to avoid paying his own.

Pass this on. Election Day is fast approaching.

Hello I'm with an independent polling party
If you knew that Al Gore had an illegitimate black child would you be more or less likely to vote for him?
If you knew that George W. Bush donated $250,000 to charity would you be more or less likely to vote for him?
these are the tactics of the one you want as president now isn't it.

The memnetics are strong within you ray but why wait 'till now to point out our hypocrisy?
The reason people have a problem with the new Halliburton contracts is because King Bush II get money from them. I'm just going to summarize the whole Iraq thing:AFGHANISTAN was harboring the al queida not Iraq.
in the first 3 years of King Bush II he lost 250000 jobs but has recently created 75000 good on him, his total gain is about -175000 jobs but lets not argue semantics, RIGHT?
it doesn't actually matter they are both horrible candidates so ignore all this propaganda and vote for the lesser of 2 evils or take the high road and go with nader its your vote don't let someone else decide for you.

What is all that tripe about? And exactly who said any of that?

The memnetics

The what????????

Pssst. I think folks have been pointing it out for years. Like serving in the miliary, not important with Clinton, means everything against President Bush.

The reason people have a problem with the new Halliburton contracts is because King Bush II get money from them.

What a load of CRAP. Any proof other then ranting? If he got a dime from them you don't think Dan Blather wouldn't be all over it in a New York second????????

Part of why Halliburton got some contracts is because...well, they are the only company in THE WORLD that does what they do.

Want to know who is a major stockholder in Halliburton? Tereza Heinz Kerry. Perhaps this is why they don't pooh-pooh Halliburton so much, nes pah?

I'm just going to summarize the whole Iraq thing:AFGHANISTAN was harboring the al queida not Iraq.

Uh, right and wrong. Yes, they were there BUT, they were also in Iraq, Iran, Pakistan, the Phillipines, Spain, Russian, USA, ad. nauseum.

in the first 3 years of King Bush II he lost 250000 jobs but has recently created 75000 good on him, his total gain is about -175000 jobs but lets not argue semantics, RIGHT?

Why not at least get the figures right.

One, he was handed a recession. Two, there was nothing he did to loose jobs unless a tax cut for EVERYONE cost jobs. Three, think 9/11. Alot of folks started reassessing their lives, not buying homes, cars, etc. It was a ripple effect that no one could have foreseen.

The U.S. Department of Labor announced the creation of 112,000 new jobs in June 2004, offering further proof that President Bush's pro-growth economic policies are working. The announcement marks the tenth consecutive month of job creation, for a total of 1.5 million new jobs since last Summer. A tad bit off from your numbers ay Skippy?

John Kerry's own advisers have said his proposals won't create jobs and won't stop outsourcing. His plans for higher taxes and new spending will halt our economic growth and destroy jobs, and his own advisers have said that he can't pay for all his new spending, which means higher taxes on all Americans.

it doesn't actually matter they are both horrible candidates so ignore all this propaganda and vote for the lesser of 2 evils or take the high road and go with nader its your vote don't let someone else decide for you.

That's the high road? Vote for a catatonic visionless guy who is not on the ballot of most states? Do you even know what is platform is (other then to halt production of the Corvair)????

I like the polls that still show undecided voters.

Who are these morons? Have they been living under a rock the past six months? Obviously, they can't decide anything for themselves and are just plain stupid, IMO.
