Quite a few varied polls are showing john kerry down or out for the count in a number of key states where they thought he would win. The democratic spin machine is already gearing up for this. Former president carter said that Florida is rift with problems and expects the voting to be flawed again. The thing the keep troting out is that a number of blacks were denied the right to vote. What they fail to mention is that these folks were convicted felons. I thought you lost your right to vote (or own a gun) if a convicted felon? Makes you wonder why the democrats want felons voting..... |

While I am not a supporter of the Kerry Campaign, I don't feel that either party really cares what the qualifications are, or who can vote. All they care about is winning at any cost. |

Convicted felons are allowed to vote. Democrats also are supported by movie stars. That is who I want to take my advice from on political or world events. Millionaires who have never worked a day in their lives. |

Meancat, I always thought felons lost their right to vote but they are making a big deal of it here this year. They can vote. I don't know if that is state by state but if it is a federal/national election I would think it would have to be consistent from state to state. I need to look into it more closely (in case I get convicted) to see what the fine print actually says. |

quote: Oh yea... Arnold is VERY honest... When he got to America, he had no money and no job. He and his friend devised a scheme to scam people into letting them rebuild their chimneys. They would tell them their chimney was about to fall apart on them, and to prove it, he would go up on the roof, grab a brick in the chimney, and rip it off. (It wasn't loose to begin with. He used his strength to rip apart their chimney.) |

Based on what I've read they can only vote in 13 states. Georgia isn't one of them..............Actually though the Dems are trying to pass a law that even prisoners would be able to vote.............. LOL! |

Democrats typically try to get anyone they can to vote for them. They run these "get out and vote" campaigns every year on MTV knowing that stupid young people are more apt to vote for "pie in the sky" idealistic canidates. i.e. democrats. Even Clinton appeared on MTV. Actors and bands have a major influence on developing young minds, not quite rooted in the reality of every day living. The recruiting of criminals to vote for them doesn`t suprise me a bit. It is all about which canidate you more closely align with. LOL Before you label me though, I`m an independant conservative. Not a republican. Not a democrat. I make up my own mind. JMO |
