Lee "Roarin" Schaefer is going back in the hospital this morning for his additional stents. He had one placed earlier this month and is going to have either one or two more inserted today. One artery is 85 % blocked and the other 70 %. Please keep him and Sue and their family in your thoughts and prayers.

Sue called and left a message. All went well but it took a little longer than they anticipated. I will post an update after I talk to her.

I got this email from Sue Schaefer, Mrs. Roarin, this evening.

Hi all,
Just a quick note to let you know Lee came home today. Yesterday was a long day. He was scheduled for 1 pm., but was bumped --- emergency patient came in. His 40 minute procedure took 2 1/2 hours!! VERY nerve wracking sitting in that waiting room. They put a stent in the other artery that was 85% blocked They found a "flap"? just before the other stent punt in on 9/6. It was almost totally occluding the artery again!! Dr. felt it probably was a hunk of plaque --- so --- took some time to get another stent in there before it closed or broke off & traveled & caused a heart attack!! The good Lord just doesn't want Lee yet!! The area further down that artery that is partially blocked he left alone for now. He feels it will be OK & hopefully improve with Lees' new meds. It is in an area that is "more complicated to treat". The same for the one a little further down. Thanks to all who continue to pray for us!! Hope to be out & about soon. Love, Sue
