Almost reminds me of the storm we were in coming back from Houston to Austin, during the June event. Larry Penn, idive, and I were at the back of the pack and really caught the nasty stuff. Not as bad as that video, but it felt like it.

That is unbelievable.
I can't figure out who is dumber though, the cameramen and reporters who need to stand out in that stuff to tell us it is raining or the reporters who go to the war zone and stand around where mortar rounds are landing. I don't get it.

Everyone has to have a hobbie. I am a armature storm chaser, one of those guys that goes out to the plains during peak Tornado season to chase them whirly twisty things, and I truly love it. I captured 17 this past spring on video from May 22nd thru the 29th. With the computer technology available today it is very safe, with GPS and Radar you know exactly where you are in relationship with the storms. BUT I would never, ever go try to get into one of those monster hurricanes. Those guys ARE nuts!!!
