I went to the dentist today due to a toothache. He told me I might nead a root canal and was going to give me a shot of nocacaine. I told him I was allergic and could not take anything even remotely related to nocacaine.
He handed me two pills and told me to take them and he would be back in about 15 minutes.

He came back in the room in about 15 minutes and said he was ready to go. He asked if I was ready and I said my tooth/jaw felt pretty much the same and the pain pills did not seem to be having any effect.

He told me they were not pain pills, they were Viagra. He thought I was going to need SOMETHING to hold on to while he worked on me.

My last root canal, the dentist must have given me a dozen shots of novacaine and never did hit the nerve. He said if the last shot didn't do it, he wasn't going to give me any more. Let me tell ya... a root canal with nothing numbing the pain HURTS!
I also had a deep cleaning once. The dentist assistant doing it thought the dentist had given me a shot of novacaine, but he didn't. After she was done, and the dentist returned, and they realized what happened, they both laughed, and his assistant said she wondered why I had tears rolling down my cheek. I was not amused!

I was taking a nuclear stress test about 5 years ago. You run on the treadmill for 8 or 10 minutes and then they inject the nuclear dye and you run for two more minutes to distribute it. The nurses were bull crapping and the doctor said, "okay the test is almost over, get ready for the treadmill to slow down". The nurse said, "wait a minute, I forgot to inject the dye". When I said something, she told me it didn't really matter. I told her it didn't matter to her since she was getting paid to bull crap but it mattered to me since I was running up hill for 10 minutes. I have had about 6 or 8 of them and every one has been a nightmare for different reasons. I have been to several diff. drs and several different hospitals, they are all screwed up, every time.

I really hate the dentist. Well not now, when I need my teeth cleaned now, I just send them to the denist by UPS.

my worst dentist experience was in the military.....

....we had dentists in training at Sheppard AFB in Texas, or at least thats what I got this particular day...

...he seemed fumble fingered, like maybe I was his first patient.....the work started out badly.....he didn't want to use novacaine so naturally when he hit a sensitive spot I jumped....after a few minutes of this, him poking and me jumping, he got really $hitty with me and called me a puzzy....I came out of the chair, shoved him into the wall as hard as I could, knocked him on his a$$, called HIM a F'n puzzy and stormed out of there with all the dental crap still hanging on me.....threw it down in the lot on the way to my car and left....

....later in the day I recieved a call from the office to reschedule my work and the nurses said they were sorry for his actions and that I wasn't the first to complain.....seems he enjoyed seeing the patients squirm......he was no longer on duty at that base when I went back a few weeks later....

....he was probably demoted to a proctologist

That's too funny....surely you must have seen the results,or were you just happy and excited to see the dentist come back in the room?
