I'm planning on staying for the storm. I want to make sure my house and Prowler are ok. I have my hurricane shutters up and everything inside or straped down. God help us!

Talked to George and William Maxey a little while ago. They said it's crazy over there. George is going to stay, and William will decide if he is going to leave in the morning. Hopefully it will take a hard right sometime soon. I think several people are going to take shelter in Jay's shop.

Hurricanes, Tropical Storms, and Tornadoes are fearful, worrisome events...have been thru several tornadoes living here in Bama...never gets easier! Cannot do much but prepare for the worst & hope for the best! Perhaps the winds will lessen & direction will curve outward~ I empathize for all those forced to evacuate!

At least you have quite a bit of advance warning with a hurricane... Tornadoes seem to just spin up out of no where. We get our fair share of them here in Tx for sure.

Have a guy working at my track here in Phoenix who left at 6 pm for Sky Harbor airport to try and get a flight back to Tampa...has a wife, 3 little kids and 2 horses at home just outside of Tampa and terrified of what may happen...I hope he gets a flight out tonight and gets home before it may hit his area, to take care of his family.....
