I don’t know about you, but the idea of having a UN representative monitoring our polling places in November makes me see RED!

Despite anyones political persuasion, they will probably agree that what these Democratic Representatives have done is an embarrassment to the US, against the Constitution, and just plain WRONG.

I cannot imagine the humiliation of going to the polls to vote and being “observed” by a UN member from some other country who doesn’t know or care about what makes America great – and probably has an agenda to rig the election themselves…Click on the links for more details. PLEASE PASS THIS ON!

Dear Conservative Friend:

For their grandstanding end-run around the Constitution to call on the United Nations to monitor our presidential election, 13 Democrats in the U.S. House of Representatives must be censured! They have violated their oath to uphold the Constitution by throwing their support to a foreign power, and your help is needed!

Please go to ConservativePetitions.com to see what is at stake. Here's the address:
Vote Here

The 13 Representatives --
Corrine Brown of Florida, Julia Carson of New York,
William Lacy Clay of Missouri,
Joseph Crowley of New York,
Elijah Cummings of Maryland,
Danny K. Davis of Illinois,
Raul Grijalva of Arizona,
Michael M. Honda of California,
Eddie Bernice Johnson of Texas,
Brenda Lee of South Carolina,
Carolyn Maloney of New York,
Jerrold Nadler and Edolphus Towns of New York

-- must pay for their partisan gall of sending a letter asking U.N. Secretary- General Kofi Annan to "deploy election observers" across our nation prior to the November vote.

Sign a petition urging Speaker of the House Dennis Hastert and House Majority Leader Tom DeLay to censure the 13 for purposefully humiliating America before the world by claiming the Bush Administration, like some tin-pot dictatorship, cannot be trusted to conduct a fair election! Here again is where to make your stand:
Vote Here

For effect, the Congressmen are grossly exaggerating the controversy over the 2000 election, which Democrats wrongly claim was stolen by George W. Bush. The letter shows what great anti-America lengths liberals are willing to go to get their man elected, and why the Representatives must be censured.

Are not these Congressmen sworn to uphold the Constitution that protects America's foundation of independence, of sovereignty from foreign powers and influences, of self-government? Then don't let them get away with their unconstitutional ploy!

The House must hold its members to a minimal ethical and legal standard that doesn't include the premeditated embarrassment of our nation. Representatives must uphold the Constitution, not dishonor it by faking a move to the U.N. just to spin bad propaganda in an all-out effort to steal the Oval Office. Act now at:
Vote Here

-- ConservativePetitions.com

P.S. Partisan politics is one thing, but this humiliating tactic is quite another. We, the people, cannot tolerate public officials who take their sworn duties so lightly, who cast aside the Constitution so recklessly, who seek to give the world such an ugly and false impression of our nation. After signing, please alert everyone you
know to the fact these Congressmen have gone too far and must pay an example-making price! Direct them to:
Vote Here

What the f*$@# ??!!

It's not like this is a 3rd world country like Uganda or Namibia or Kazhakstan - just the "suggestion" that the elections had to be UN supervised is outragous and in my opinion absolutely ridicilous !!

The United States would be better off if the UN building was just pushed over into the river in NY. The idea of One world government makes me ill! JMO

While the UN may well monitor our elections, let us, for a moment, project into the future, the following:
We hold our elections. The UN oversees our elections. The UN determines that our elections are inacurate and states that another "proper" election must be held.
BFD!!!! Anything the UN observers come up with, be it either pro OR con, is totally nonbinding! I agree, it's an insult to America and its citizens, but means nothing! There is absolutely nothing that they can do about the results no matter what the outcome is!

Point is, it's foot in the door of a place they should never be. Once we allow them in to do this, it will only get worse and to the point they DO CONTROL they outcome.

If we have another 2000 election nightmare, I hope the U.N. deploys some of those cowardly peacekeeping forces.

Can you imagine walking around in New York City trying to enforce order while wearing one of those dorky baby-blue helmets with the target-like U.N. insignia over the forehead?

Knowing the U.N., they'll probably put Venezuela in charge of the U.S. Elections Monitoring Committee.
