Larry - thanks for the pics,,,that is WILD! Does it belong to a local Indiana Carquest store owner or to Temple Sloan, the head dude of Carquest in N. Carolina?

cNote - I doubt the owner is going to race this machine,,,,show car and cruising. Would be a blast for some stop light to stop light excitement though

Not sure where the guy is from. My guess here in Indy, I thought he said Pete Romano

The car has 2,000 miles on it run 118 in the 1/4 babying it off the line (can you say UP IN SMOKE?) 2,500 lbs balanced 49 front 51 rear

The 1st time I seen it I was following it and it RUNS. The builder get to show it off to promote his business. It was at our local cruise night yesterday.


Is this weekend the Street Rod Nationals in KY?

Larry, yeah, it is the big week in Louisville. I saw lots of Rods going down I-75 the last few days.

YEP - 14,000 street rods still here today. Great weather, too!!! Lindsay & I are going back to the Fairgrounds later today for one more look.
