Kind of a left-handed welcome, seems to me and yes, I'm a Viet Nam Vet:
<straight from the website>
"Registration Fee

Cost of registration for Welcome Home is $100 per person. Children 12 and under are free. Each group or individual participant will receive confirmation of registration by return mail."

Not that $100 is a lot...but, ahhh, welcome home, gimme $100 bucks is ahhh, not MY idea of 'Welcome Home'~ and ahhh, most of us don't wanna remember it anyway!

TK I understand how you feel. Some that I have shared this with echoed your feelings and some just hoped to see some Golden friends. Thank you for your service to this country!

CN6MOM Thank you for sharing and getting the word out.

I was very pleased by the enthusiasm shared by the people that were talking about this on a radio talk show. Jeff
