...Kinda funny how things work.....15 or so years ago a friend of mine called to borrow my '69 Dodge Daytona for a foto shoot.....the photographer was Phil Kunz and the writer was Bill Holder...I had never heard of these guys in 1988, but I let them come and get my car so I too would have my shot at stardom....

...It was Easter Sunday and I had company I couldn't shake for the day, so off went my car to be a star....sure enough a few months later, there was a big article about "Winged Warriors" in the Dupont Registry featuring my green Daytona and my buddies yellow Hemi Superbird...I wasn't real familiar with Dupont then either....I felt like a star, bought lots of extra copies and so on...these guys started calling on me to locate cars for them(several of these cars were at Harold Sullivans Museum when the POA visited a few years back) in the late eighties thru the mid ninties on a very regular basis....we had some of the rarest MOPAR muscle in the world at the New Castle Airport and other various locations around town , many locations I still use myself.....thru the years they had various cars of mine published in many magazines and books....still, every Christmas I find a new "car book" with a few of my old cars in it.....still a very nice suprise.....just a few months ago there was a MOPAR musclecar book with several of my cars that went into print....in short, a long lasting very pleasant experience dealing with these guys....

...The last few days I have been taking lots of pix for the calendar project, remembering many things they taught me and forgetting others I am sure.....but just this evening I got a call from Bill, and he is looking for some cars to shoot for a new book....he has been busy restoring sprint cars along with writing articles and books full time.....

he is looking for

...early 61-62 413 MOPARS
...any Max Wedge cars
...any early street MOPARS(1964) with the 426 Race Hemi
...especially looking for a '68 Hemi Dart
...lightweight Chevy/Pontiacs
...lightweight Fords

...the right car just about guarantees your place in history ...

ps...the cars need to be within 150 miles of Dayton Ohio...

...Bill is also always on the lookout for STOCK, PERFECT, Musclecars too....LET ME KNOW WHAT YA GOT.....email me pix and descriptions if you have a car of interest.....

...they had this car published many times in many magazines and books.....

Larry

this might not be a MUSCLE car but sure would like to see it in a magazine

It is one of the last rear wheel drive 2 door cars built by Chrysler. This car is almost 100% original 14,000 miles

1981 Imperial, They made around 7,500 in 81 alittle over 3,000 in 82 and less than 3,000 in the final year of 83. About the same total production number as the Prowler

Has Mark Cross leather interior, been driven in the rain 4 times, never in the snow and the one year only Power Moon Roof, the only OPTION on the car. Everything else was a choice at no charge

and another cool note, Jerry Scholten worked on both the Imperial and the Prowler

One thing I need for this car is the window sticker. My dad took it to work to show somewone years ago and it has not been seen since
