Hi,
I need lots of Prowlers for ACD parade on Sat Sept 4 2004 in Auburn In. We did this same thing last year and had a blast! Ask CJ! She was there and we had lots of Prowlers. We will be meeting at the Meteor Bar and Grill at 11 AM Indiana time. This is right next to the ACD museum. Call Todd at 260-925-4200 or Chris Moore at 260-348-2176 or Cameron Moore at 260-925-4710. We also need Vipers and 50s 60s 70s Mopars! Thanks

Chris Moore

Anyone that was not there last year missed a great time. The parade is incredible to say the least. You ought to try to make it if you are anywhere near Auburn, which is in northeastern Indiana, not too far from the Ohio and Michigan borders.
This needs to stay near the top. Will we be in the parade again?
If so, I will try to talk it up in Cincy and get a group to come up.

I`m game for this one. Went last year and had a great time. The parade is awesome. Between the Kruse Auction, ACD Museum (Theres a Purple Prowler in there!), NATMUS museum, war museum & Auto museum (Barris cars everywhere!), if you can`t find something to interest you then you are probably dead.

I will put it into the calender- Helped CJ last year with the parade and still have people talk about the number of cars we had at the Parade.

Skidmore- Do you want to caravan to the parade from Fort Wayne.

Let me know and I will try to spread the word locally.

Darn! That's Labor Day weekend and I already planned a family gathering up at our cottage. Sorry we will have to miss it this year.

I have not had many emails from the locals yet. Jeff & Kathy Asman in a Mulholland and Ed and Sandy Monahan in a 99 Red or 2002 Candy Red will be there. I will post when I hear from others in the Cincy area.

We were unable to attend this event last year and were really sorry we missed it. We are very much looking forward to attending this year with Ed & Sandy, and hopefully others as well from the Cincinnati Prowlers Group.

Dale, it is not written in stone but last year we went straight up Rt. 27 thru Oxford (Miami U) all the way. Very nice route. No traffic that early in the day and pretty scenic, if you think bucolic is scenic.
We are trying to talk Roarin (Lee and Sue Schaefer into going but they don't want to do the drive up and back in one day). Jeff and Kathy Asman are going. Maybe Kerry McManus. I figure we will leave here about 8:30 AM.
Let me know if you want to join us and I will figure out where we all should meet. I try to stay off of Expressways if it is not a huge difference in the time.

Ed,
Tell me where to meet you. If I leave Lexington about 6:30 AM I should be able to meet you by 8:30. On the map it looks like 27 starts at the split of I-74 off of I-75.
I will spend Saturday night in Auburn. Would like to go to the museum and maybe visit some family.

Dale, you don't want anything to do with US 27 that far south. That is Colerain avenue which is mostly business for 15 to 20 miles. Lots of lights. And traffic.
You want to take I-74 west to I-275 north and get off at US 27 North and turn left across the X-way and there is a huge Wal-Mart in a shopping center on the right.
From the river to that point should be about 20 minutes.
Let's meet there. From that point it is a pretty nice drive. Don't take I-275 from Florence KY. That is a lot of extra miles. I-75 to I-74 west about 7 or 8 miles to I-275 north about 6 or 8 miles.
The museum is great. The building itself is specacular. The lobby is art-deco with a bunch of Deusenbergs sitting there in all their glory. Upstairs is a lot of cool cars, too.

Hi I live in Fort Wayne and will be at the Parade. I have room if anyone needs a Place to Stay.

I am going to meet Skidmore Saturday Morning and Drive up to Auburn on Saturday morning From Fort Wayne 30-40 Minutes depending on traffic.

We most likely will meet at the Bob Evans at the US 24 and
I 69 Exit in the Sw part of Fort Wayne same area we meet at last year to drive up to the meeting point.

I have a simple route into Auburn from the south with out going thru Downtown to get to the Meteor Bar which is on the South side of Auburn on the main street which will the same street as the parade route and is just south of the museum. My phone number is 260-672-9149 at home and cell # is 260-433-3436.

Let me know if anyone needs help. Thanks Brad

Maybe someone would think it was the Morman Meteor... LOL

..Ok maybe if they squinted....

I hope someone knows this car is or this is gonna bomb...
OH well
