tangled up in BLUE Prowler Junkie Posts: 11086 From: New Castle, Ind Registered: DEC 2000	posted 07-09-2004 02:25 PM ....for the last few years some of my friends have hosted an event unlike anything I have seen.....they bring in many of the surviving stars of the Andy Griffith Show for a 3 day festival, Mayberry USA......the town has several live events, shows, along with autograph sessions, press sessions etc etc....all in all quite an event for a little town like this.....about a dozen old police cars are on hand to drive the stars around town for the weekend....all of the stars are very approachable while in town and are seen at local restraunts and even Walmart...see if you can guess who some of these people are.... far right, Ronnie Schell....Duke on Gomer Pyle middle, Elinor Donahue....Father Knows Best, Ellie Walker on Andy Griffith... left, George Lindsay....Goober on Andy Griffith.... Before the Press conference today, I was standing outside talking to a guy, not realizing it was Ronnie Schell.....I didn't recognize him, or expect him to just be milling around outside .....so much for my quick eye....
