At the Nashville event ,the horn I purchased from WOLO MANUFACTURING CO. got wet from the rain and stopped working. Their guarantee says "for out of guarantee repairs return the unit to Wolo with a check for $22.88." I spoke with the owner today and he said that he could not fix it for the $22.88 and I would have to buy another unit. He said he would change the guarantee today and for me to "have a nice day__ bye". To me , that is not the way to run a business. Tell your Friends about this fine guarantee!!!

Eddie - sounds like you got the roofer's guarantee: 15 years or the first rain, whichever comes first.
Sorry to hear that the AH bit you in the butt!

AC, He missed out on $22.88~~~~ I removed the back (which breaks the the waterproof seal and voids the guarantee)(oh no !!!!) and dried it with a hair dryer and it is working fine. I will reseal everything with silicone and it should be better than new. Do you have an extra shower cap I could cover it with in case of another RAIN ?

If AC has the shower cap , it should work fine!!! Good to see you again Marty. Glad Rebecca liked the pottery. Did you tell her you had to stand in the rain and mud for hours to get it?This message has been edited by Eddie Powell on 06-28-2004 at 08:06 PM

Eddie - how big of a horn is it? Maybe unroll a condom over it and poke a hole at the air end? I use trash can liners for shower caps (so much hair) so that is probably too large for your horn, lol. Am I to believe that Marty stood out in the rain and mud for hours to get Reba a gift? Usher, you are mellowing out with age,

Larry - her birthday was earl;ier this month and the pottery was a lot cheaper than the new Weber four burner natural gas grill with side burner and stainless cooking surface she wanted1

Good move Marty! You are still on the cutting edge of thrift shopping,,,,,hence, freeing up more $$$ for cat mods, I applaud your decision!

It's just a shame you didn't have it for the parade. Glad to hear you got it fixed.
