I know you've probably heard about this in the news, but it appears that it is becoming more rampant. Very recently my sister's credit card # was compromised. Someone got her # and was using it for on-line charges. So I decided to check my own accounts closely. What a coincidence... There was a charge on my account for over $600 about a week ago that I did not make!! I notified the merchant and the bank. Fortunately, this charge had not yet been approved - it was listed on my account as "pending". Be sure to keep an eye on your credit card accounts!! |
