They would have to offer it at a price under $21,000.00 for us to be able to bid on it. Ford sells it's Crown Vic Interceptor a fleet price under that, so for us to switch, they would have to do what Ford did to Chevy several years ago. They discounted the CV $4,000 under the Chevy to gain the Police Fleet market.

If DC was serious about that market segment, they could take it back in a second. No one is very happy with the CV right now. Maintenance costs are out the roof.

Michigan State Police are doing tests on the Magnum and the 300C in September. There were 7 pages in the last issue of PoliceFleet devoted to the 300C/Magnum.

Marty-

I agree, I don't think cnote would qualify either, but I bet he can tell us about the view from the back seat of a cruiser!

Randy - they will not put cNote into the back seat of a police car. They know he would just pee in his pants and all over the rear seat, and cops don't like that one bit!!!

Maybe throw him in the trunk?

My son and I went to a local cruise-in last night and a guy had a black Magnum there that had raised it. It kind of looked like a slighly shorter, smaller, but sleeker version of a Suburban.

I know that is hard to picture in your "minds eye", but believe it or not it looked pretty good. I left my camera in my daily driver, but he said he may be back next week and if I see it again I'll take some pics and post.
