Shane,

Stay away from the dealers and you wiil probably get a much better deal.
I have a friend that wholesales high end car in Northridge and I'm sure he can help you find a near perfect used car at a low price.

Call Bob Faeber at 818-3703400 and see what he has to offer.

There was a beautiful black with flames for sale a while back by someone in Florida I think. I'm not sure if it sold yet but I'm sure someone who knows will answer the post.

Shane,

Chrysler gives me an updated list each month of all new Prowlers remaining on dealer lots. As of this month, there are only 5 listed for California. If you would like a list of these, email me CJ

Thanks everyone for your help.

CJ, I wanted to give you an update on the list you sent my on new cats in CA. The first is a 2001 Chrysler/orange, they want 50k. The second I did not call. The third on the list is a 199 plymouth red, which I was told the owner of the dealership owns. The fourth 1999 plymouth has not been at the dealership for years according to the salesman and the 5th 2002 chrysler silver is 49k. Interesting enough a person purchased a gold prowler. On the second day, the hood flew open on the freeway acting as a huge airbrake...and tweeked the car. The owner is blaming the dealership..so if the dealership looses the battle I may be able to get a gold cat after it is repaired for a good price.

I am hoping that a dealership in CA has a used prowler for sale, man life is ruff when you want to buy your candy and there is none in stock....It should be a "Got Cat" commercial.

Because total production #'s are so low, I recommend not limiting your search to so-cal. You can always get the Cat delivered.... or fly out and drive it home.

You can always ask someone here in the club to look at the car for you - that way you get a third party independent view before you waste your time...

Your absolutely right about that. I would GREATLY beyond my lifetime appreciate anyone that could find a Prowler in your area. I want to purchase a black cat, however, yellow is my second favorite color. If any of you find one at a used one at a dealership, please email me at shane.hansen@cox.net.

The only reason I have to purchase at a delearship is I have to finance the vehicle.

I really appreciate any help you all can provide to make this dream of mine come true.

Here is what I have seen on eBay thus far, some of these are sales via dealerships.

Year Color Mileage Mullholland Edition Price Location

1999 Red 1799 No $28,300.00 Maine

2001 Black 9 Yes $43,735.00 Connecticut

2000 Silver 3503 No $31,200.00 Illinois

2002 Red 4650 No $38,000.00 Texas

2000 Silver 10236 No $29,600.00 Missouri

1999 Maroon 10409 No $31,975.00 Boston

2000 Black 8750 No $32,900.00 Oklahoma

2000 Silver 10236 No $32,999.00 Missouri

Shane,
check out the links I mentioned above - both listings on eBay are from a Dodge dealer in Atlanta - both Cats are black - one's a 1999 with only 5k mls - the other one a 2000 with only 14k mls. !

good luck !

Shane, on the way home from the TEXAS stampede, I saw a yellow cat sitting out front in a dealer's lot in Okla. I do not remember the name of the town, unfortunately.
It was on route 69/75 in the southern half of the state. I don't think it was too far north from the Texas line. It was a D-C dealership, I am fairly sure.
Maybe someone near there will read this and get you a name.
