I just wanted to say thank you to everyone that stuck out the horrible weather with us and kept on a great game face during the week. There were a couple of grumbles, but the vast majority kept a great attitude and were fantastic to be around! Thank you to Marty, Rebecca, Gary, Kelly, CJ, Bob, Ed, Sandy, Laddie and Karen and countless others for all of their moral support during the event!!! I was reminded several times that the lack of sleep and endless planning was all worth it when you saw everyone together and having a great time and that was absolutely correct! I lost sight of that a couple of times when the weather wasn't cooperating and I was going brain dead! The people of POA make it what it is - a great group of people who love a great car and each other. Thank you to everyone that made it so special! A major thank you goes out to Fred, Debe and Ken - you worked so hard on everything with me and I can never thank you enough for all that you did!!! Fred worked tirelessly on maps and cruises for everyone to enjoy with the help of some of his South Texas posse and made a registration setup that was killer!! All of the planning that he and I did was effortless in that he was so easy to work with on this and if I forgot something, he remembered it. Debe made a gorgeous quilt of the High Voltage Blue that was auctioned off at the Krehels on Wednesday - it was amazing along with several other handmade items for everyone to enjoy and have as a momento from the trip. My photo album that she made will be cherished for years to come! Ken, thank you for being you and helping me out!! The Krehels were wonderful to open their museum to a large group of people to enjoy with a BBQ dinner to top it off and my kids had a great time with their granddaughter Ashlee who showed them all over the grounds. The POA vendors and supporters that donated items for the raffles were amazing and we all need to make sure and keep that in mind when we are looking for new mods and parts for our Prowlers. Without these people we wouldn't have all that we have to enjoy putting on our cars!! Thank you also to Wayne Wagner (Waynew) for being our photographer at the event and taking his time and energy to photograph and video everything that he did for the event which will be coming out on DVD in the next few weeks for sale with the proceeds going to the POA to support it as it has supported us all of this time!!! It was great to meet some of the people that I still had not met and to be around such an enthusiastic, fun loving group - even if I did get awakened at 1:30 in the morning by the radio that I forgot to turn off telling me that the police were in the parking garage busting some of our very own. You know who you are!!! LOL And my kids are still traumatized by the second transmission that I was also in handcuffs being taken away!!! Okay, I'll get off of my soap box now. If I've forgotten to thank everyone please accept my apologies - there are so many incredible people in this organization and to list them all for all of the great things they do and are would be impossible. I love you guys!!! T

I knew I would forget to thank someone and it came to me this afternoon! Thank you to Chris Wade for all of his hard work in getting donations for the raffles! He did an amazing job and a thank you too to CJ and Wildbill for running the raffles and hawking tickets!! Thanks also to Bob and Martha Mart and AC and Lethia for all of their help at registration! A special thanks also to Bob Real Rod Goetz for hosting the parking lot party and being our Party Sheriff along with all the south Texas people that helped on cruises!! Oh and last, but definitely not least - Tom Randall for helping out with the local PD - thanks Tom, great job!! T

Tami Faye, Thanks to YOU guys for all the planning and hard work. No doubt it would have been better with better weather but that is not controllable by anyone. We had a great time in spite of the "scattered" showers. Pauley took GPS, Sandy and me on a 4-wheeling adventure that will be talked about until our deaths. He assured me we would be at the track before anyone else. It is already a classic.
You guys did great and I am compiling a TOP TEN list. I have it almost complete and rest assure "121" is right up there at the top.
POA people are the best. Phil Genet picks up the check for about 35 people at the restaurant. The Foshees take us out on their yatch and then take another group out when they drop us off at the dock. I had never had a conversation with them prior to that. The Krehels let Alley Cat on their property in spite of his past criminal history (lol) and let me sign the hood of the High Voltage Prowler. Pauley took us on the scenic tour (It really was a great time) and bought us cold drinks in case we got lost in the desert on the way to the track. People are super generous and go out of their way to make you feel welcome.
The weather was less than perfect but the trip was still great. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and I think 95 % of the folks feel the same way.

Tami.

I also want to thank Tami & her children who gave up their room on Saturday night to Karen & I. I think they also gave it up on Sunday night to Mike Gatlin. There's lots of behind the scene sacrifices that occur that most people don't realize.

Again Thanks and Thanks to all the people who helped, supported and offered to help make our stay a fun time. And, Ed has mentioned some additional folks who deserve our gratitude.

Here's our registration table hosts...

Larry & Lethia, Fred & Debe, Martha & Bob, Tami & Ken.

Here's Ed enjoying the hard life out on Dave's boat during our Thursday cruise.... He had to get up before noon to make this trip....

Marcia, Ed & Sandy ...

I'd like to thank CJ and Bob for loaning me some tools to tighten a loose splash guard nut Tuesday morning, as well as Larry, Lethia, Larry, and Robin for lagging behind to get me gassed up and back to the hotel Wednesday.

Yes Mickey,,,that will be one trip I'll never forget as long as I live. Being the fourth cat to leave the Krehel's home and being the 'last' cat to return to the hotel at 11:30pm. We seen more rain in two hours than we see in Phoenix in one full year Seems my MTD air intake system mounted 4" above the roadway is not conducive to driving on flooded highways I did get to meet a lost homeless soul living under the freeway bridge and needing a lift. For some reason that gal didn't understand that the Prowler is a two-person mode of transportation,,,,and she was praying to the Lightning Gods as we drove away. OMG>>>yes Mikey, thanks for the MEMORIES
