Hi,
Longtime lurker here, And figured I would introduce myself. I received an email from Gary C a while back encouraging me to join, even if i did not own a prowler, so here I am. (At least I own one DC vehicle, an 02 Liberty Renegade).
I am 29, work in the Semiconductor Industry, live in Austin, TX, and, well the following picture explains where my "Buy Tony a prowler fund" went...

That's me, my wife Becky, who just finished her Master's in Community and Regional Planning with a 4.0 from UT, and my little man Jacob (Jake) who is now 3 months old!(He's 2 months in that pic). LOL, no regrets whatsoever, I will just have a to wait a tad bit longer to get that prowler of my dreams...

Anyway, I have always had eclectic tastes in vehicles (my favorite was my 92 Volvo 745ti that ran 14.2 in the 1/4 mile...) and now have an 02 Liberty Renegade.

Hope to Talk more with ya'll soon, and maybe get to meet some of you when you are in town for Stampede (if I can make it, Jake has been sick lately)!

Thanks Again!

Tony Blatnica

Hi Tony, glad to meet you. Sure you are a very proud husband and father. In time the car will come. Family first is that old saying.

Anyway, if you make it to the event, my husband Jerry is there. Stop and say hi to him.(tell him that we chatted)He will be the shy, timid one there. (He is probably going to take my computer away, when he gets home)

Have fun...Kim

It's always great to have people join this site and I hope you enjoy it as much as the rest...
Yes it's about a car...but more importantly it's about people and the friendships you get a chance to create!
Feel free to jump in anytime...that's what it's all about.
Hope your little baby feels better...

Tony:

Welcome.

I visited the site for a while before I bought my Prowler 2 years ago. There are several people who don't currently own Prowlers who post on the POA site and offer great comments and suggestions.Feel free to jump on in.

Be sure to just drop by the headquaters hotel. It's unreal to see 100+ Prowlers in various colors and modifications at one time and place.

Thanks Kim, DR, Randy,
I am definitely going to try and make it, at least for the 730 parking lot thing on Tuesday night, if Becky doesn't mind watching Jake for a while...
I was This close.. <holding fingers like 1cm apart> from getting one about 2 years ago as a graduation gift to myself, but we decided to wait a little while. On a similar note, I think my father might be interested in getting a Prowler to either replace or supplement his "toy" collection that consists of a 62 vette white on white #s matching. I have found this site to be invaluable and have loved reading up on everything, plus the people here are genuinely the nicest people on any bulletin board on the net that I know of!

That's ok Gary. Does not bother me to use your name around here. What's the worst that could happen, pics of my head on a bikini-clad body show up on here?

How's the neon coming by the way? Any upgrades on the turbo? (I am curious to see how they do that with the exhaust housing being incorporated into the manifold... sorry its the turbo junkie in my coming out...)

Welcome. I, too, was a Prowler enthusiast long before I got a kat of my own.

Maybe if everybody here at the POA donated just one or two pieces of their Prowlers, we could make one for you. I'll ante up a radio control knob and a left turn signal light.

Mean Gene,
I tried to convince Becky that her college fund should go towards the prowler, but as you can see in the pic above, I lost that argument... LOL

WHOO WHOOO rsterling, that's the spirt, ii can forever sit at my "prowler desk" going in left hand circles while turning up the volume on my imaginary tunes... LOL.. thanks that made me smile today in the gloomy weather... Not sure if I can make it to lakeway to see the prowlers at stampede before they head to Houston...

Tony, It was nice meeting and speaking with you on Tuesday night. I was the one with the Black Prowler with the Neon Hot Wire Prowler between the seats. I hope you got to meet and talk to a few Prowler Owners. Hope your family is doing well and that some day you can get that Prowler.

Tony, it was nice meeting you in the garage the other night. Hang around and start saving your money. Your kid(s) are more important than your cars.
