Took the crossfire out last evening because the color of the sky was a near-match to the car itself... if you're interested

Geno - Great pics! The first one and the pic you took last fall of your yellow in the forest with the leaves falling are works of art. If it's not too much trouble, how 'bout posting the yellow one again for those who may not have seen it before. ------------------ |

Don't know if you are interested, but K & N now has replacement air filters for the Crossfire. The part # is 33-2290 requires two. Also Borla has designed a Cat Back exhaust system and even shows a picture of a Crossfire in their ad in the latest issue of Car and Driver. However, it is not in production at this time. They told me it could be as long as three months before it's available for sale. Bill |

Thx for that info Bill... the exhaust sound is very disappointing.... was thinkin' I had to do something about it soon! Glasspacks, something... but Borla would be worth the wait.... thx for the heads-up. And thanks Randy.. here's the pic |

Just received the two K & N filters, took about ten minutes to install. Perfect fit as usual from K & N. Under wide open throttle there's a little more noise (good noise). Also got the new wheels installed last Thursday. They are Budnik Gasser Fat Lips. 18 X 8 front and 19 X 10 rear. They look awesome on my black Crossfire. Bill |

Geno, bought about $1,200 worth of digital camera, special printer, etc. Pretty good at taking pictures, OK at downloading them to my computer. Really lousy at emailing pictures! Maybe this weekend I can practice. Bill |

Gene, if I didn't know what you really do for a living, I'd swear you were a professional photographer. The first shot is one-of-a-kind. Maybe you could give me some pointers. Great work! |

Thanks Paul... I'd love to take the time to get a few shots of yours upclose and personal, maybe next time we couple up!?!??! El & I are doing the 5-corners Thursday burger thing again.... maybe see ya there some night? That Candy can sure turn a pretty color with just the right light/sun. A former roommate (and still good friend) of mine was (is) a professional photog, so I did pick up a few pointers regarding composition, lighting, etc, but really just the basics. As far as the 'equipment' it's a very basic digital camera, nothing special. It's more about "What you see" ... and being able to 'see' what's in the frame... not focusing on the 'item' itself, but seeing the whole picture. As far as the colors being right, which they were in this as well as the 'colors' pic that Mr. Cobb referred to.. it was just plain ol' 'luck'.... worked out right. |
