CONGRATS to Buddy Rice,,,,Phoenix, Arizona racer, on winning the Indy 500 today.

Buddy was fired from the Red Bull team last year, even with a three year contract in hand. Guess they made the wrong decision back then,,,,the kid can drive. I noticed after the tv interviews, he popped open a can of Red Bull to chug. Think he was telling them something?

I guess Buddy will be doing a Top Ten this week.
Letterman's main competition is Jay Leno, who used to a be a mechanic and owns about 100 cars. Wonder if he will congratulate Dave!
A/C, how are the Diamondbacks doing? REDS are in first place, Griffey may be healthy for the first time in 4 years and Sean Casey got a hit yesterday and his batting average DROPPED to .387. The REDS were picked to finish last in the division. Randy Johnson pitched a perfecto and probably will be gone by August 1.

Ed - NEWS FLASH, they found the Weapons of Mass Destruction!

Located in the D-Backs bullpen!!! All losers! They come into the eight or ninth inning to protect a one run lead, and either serve up a three run homer, walk two straight batters when the bases are already loaded, or wild pitch their way into another loss. What a joke these guys are. They claim they are depressed. Make millions of $$$ to play baseball. So now the fans are depressed also, and demanding their money back for season tickets, lol. I'm thinking the coach will take the fall soon. As for Randy Johnson, he probably isn't gong anywhere else,,,,he makes too much money doing local mattress and car dealership ads and doesn't need the money from baseball anymore.

Congrats on the REDS winning again,,,,its about time

I watched the Indy for the first time in years--SNORE. It didn't have the thrill of the past for me, but I haven't been following the IRL and dont know the players. Glad for Letterman--he seemed excited and looked like he was giving his pump a workout at one interview.

David Letterman apparently got drunk for the first time in 30 years after the win...
