I would not be surprised to see the large screens drop in price by half from here perhaps as early as Christmas but certainly within a year (already down a lot from initial pricing). Also quality is getting better but still not as good as tube or DLP. New silicone chips are expected to improve quality and reduce prices

Audio video monitering and recording of 16 channels prompted by motion (pixel change). Two way audio from all moniters (intercom). 4 DVR's with about 300 gig's space each. Remote veiwing via internet from anywhere. Calls police/cell/beeper/friends if alarm triggers. Records to offsite location (internet) ON ALARM TRIGGER so taking the DVR wont help a thief.
