While not the largest of TV's we are probably next in line 40" direct screen. I would guess the projection and plasmas come next. LOL |

60" Mitsubishi in family/game room, but the best picture is a 36" JVC big tube in master b/r. I've thought about upgrading to a plasma of HD, but wife, kids, mods and ballgames take all the extra cash. ------------------ |

Have a 64" Pioneer Elite HDTV in the living room (just subscribed to Directv HD - what a picture!) 48" Mitsubishi HDTV in the bedroom Since they don't take trade-ins on old sets, have a 60" Mitsubishi in the Benz Den (Norm's doghouse!) which also means that we now have our own indoor drive-in.

quote: Virtually all the manufacturers have new plasma/lcd plants coming on stream this year and will have huge excess capacity. I would not be surprised to see the large screens drop in price by half from here perhaps as early as Christmas but certainly within a year (already down a lot from initial pricing). Also quality is getting better but still not as good as tube or DLP. New silicone chips are expected to improve quality and reduce prices |

Mits 60" in family room, Mits 31" in child's play room and 42" Sony HD plasma in master bedroom. Oh, small under-cabinet Sony in "the" garage too ... also have 2 20" Mits' in storage room ... not used. Hey, that's like 187" of TV viewing space ... yikes! 46 Inch RCA Projection. Over 15 years old and going strong. Waiting for the Plasma TV prices to come down. Local consumer advocate says they should drop siginificantly by Christmas. But after all the Kat mods this year there may be nothing left in the Piggy Bank. That's OK, The Kat is much more fun and ipmportant. |

MULTI-TASKING
16" LCD moniter in all rooms except bathrooms. Audio video monitering and recording of 16 channels prompted by motion (pixel change). Two way audio from all moniters (intercom). 4 DVR's with about 300 gig's space each. Remote veiwing via internet from anywhere. Calls police/cell/beeper/friends if alarm triggers. Records to offsite location (internet) ON ALARM TRIGGER so taking the DVR wont help a thief. No wonder friends are scared to use the bathrooms here !!!
