Hey Pals, this is Jeff the Chef. I need some help with my interior. Please don't laugh... I know how this sounds, but I'm serious. My ladyfriend and I were doing some "cooking" of our own last weekend, and I seriously jammed up my steering column. The dealership gave me a quote of like $1500 bucks....no way I'm goin that route! I can not adjust it. Do I need to purchase some kind of replacement kit for the steering harness, or can someone give me advice on how I can un-stick the thing. Another thing, I would be most appreciative if you folks could offer me advice on the purchase of cleaning supplies for my interior. I've used some of the Macquires products, and they are ok, but I've got quite a few stains on my seats. Some on my dash too. For those of you who know what I'm talking about, it is a bugger to get that stuff up once whatever you spill dries. I love my prowler, but it sees alot of action. I know this is kind of off topic, but I hope you guys will bear with a newbie like myself. Thanks in advance... Jeff the Chef On the Prowl!

hmmmm ... you might try a product called Goo Gone ... seems the closest to what you are dealing with Good Luck (Or give Ms Lewinski a call, she had some similiar troublesome stains ... never DID get those cleaned if I recall)

I guess that raises the question about whether the Prowler has enough "Head" room.

Hey Jeff the Chef...definite cool post...lol. As far as cleaning supplies...I like to keep a container of antibacterial wipes in my Prowler at all times. Wal-Mart sells them and they come in a plastic container. They are similar to a baby wipe but just a little stronger. Can't remember who makes them off the top of my head. I would then use some of the Mequiars Leather Care after cleaning up with the disposable wipes. The leather care will protect the leather in the future. I hope I have been of some help. Oh...you may want to consider modifying an old 70's window decal to read this: "If this Prowlers a rockin don't bother knockin" Brian

I won't go into details how I know this but mix some of your solution with water and used the fresh mix to remove the old full strength mix, should cum right off.....This message has been edited by Gary C on 05-25-2004 at 11:31 AM

Completely P-R-I-C-E-L-E-S-S...lolKim, don't be mad...at least it wasn't your cat that got stained (lol). Nice choice in color! Jeff the Chef, better it was a red than a yellow (lol). This message has been edited by akadvs1 on 05-22-2004 at 10:19 AM

Should clarify my statement. I mean messy and careless. Yes, yellow is a beautiful color. I would never let my husband disrespect our car, by getting that "stuff" all over it. Would recommend a 1980 Chevette or something along that line of vehicle. Thanks for the entertainment.....Kim ------------------
