Well,
I went out last night, and purchased a new 300 C.. "Ya It's Got A Hemi!"

I must say I am truly very impressed with this car, and as long as Chrysler keeps coming out with vehicles like this I will be a life long customer....

Anyway.... That's what I'll be bringing to the Texas Event...

See Ya'll There!

I Love the new Hemi 300C. I wish we could afford one right now. Now that we have a Hemi Durango we are thing of trading our Hemi Ram 1500 Quad Cab. Looking at the PT Convert or the Dodge Magnum.

Speaking of doors: How is the door project coming? I really am looking forward to this. It is still number one on my list of wantta-do mod.

Yeah!!!
I can see a suicide doored 300.. That would be sweet... George do you take checks drawn on Mexican bank accounts??? I made plenty of deposits down there last weekend!

I'll try and have some pics up in the next day or so... It rained today right after I left the dealership, so I have already had to spray it off..

I'm anxious to see how this thing runs in Austin...
Hopefully it will be a good bracket car, even thought bracket racing isn't my thing..

Roman tell C-note he can bring it...
Just make sure you don't ask him what happened at the lake the last time I told him that....

So far so good with the car... It's definately an attention getter. I have only seen one other on the road so far here in Dallas. These things are only lasting hours at the dealerships here.

Ron

Rich ---- go drive a 300... might change your mind.

According to material I read today, they are quicker in the 0-60 then either the Prowler or the Crossfire!

Definitely a neck-snapper luxury auto... and the tortoise shell aint a bad touch either!

right about in the area where the circle is drawn. You can't see it in either of the above pics but if you own one, or look at one in person, you can see it. There isn't one on the driver side. It's about 1" in diameter.

Maybe when I get it on a lift I will be able to tell..

I don't see it serving any purpose at all right now...

Ron, do please give us your comments about the 300C. I would love to own one, too. Comments on handling, noise, glitches or whatever good or bad. Thanks, I be watching for your posts.

I'll do that Paul.
So far I have no complaint's with the car. Everything works perfect, fit and finish is european quality. I can see many areas of this vehicle were taken directly from mercedes. The 5 link suspension is almost an exact copy from mercedes benz. The transmission is excellent you can't hardly feel the shifts, and with it being the five speed from Mercedes it definately lets you get max power/torque no matter what speed you are traveling. I have already had the car up to it's governed top speed of 126 mph and it still feels solid, also wind noise is minimal at that speed. The stability system is awesome, I have pushed this car very hard into some corners that I would take pretty hard in my Prowler, and to me this car actually seems to handle better...
I also raced a BMW 750 V12 last night on the toll road, from many different speeds the 300C was always way out front until 126 then the BMW would eventually catch up and pass me.
I'll post a couple links that I have found one of a 300C doing a power slide, and the other a video explaining the new stability control found on this car..

300C Power Slide 1mb .wmv format

Video On Traction Control 7mb
