Just wandering what I should do about the problem I am having getting my 300m repaired. 2002 w/24k miles. It has been in the shop 8 times now to have an overheating and check engine light problem repaired. This is 8 times for the same problem in about 2 months. I haven't had the thing at home more than 2 days in that time. We have been taking to the dealership where we bought it and have called Chrysler about the problem as well. My issue is not only that they can't get it fixed, it is wasting a lot of my time too. I love my prowler but this has changed my mind about any other DC products. I had been close to doing the viper but would rather see my money rot in a low interest savings account. It's shame that it wasn't less than a year old or I would have hired someone to make sure that they would own the stupid thing. Any suggestions/help?

Early on I remember seeing that sand from the block casting was found in the cooling passages---I assume that the dealership flushed your cooling system? The other obvious thing is a cooling system that hasn't been properly purged of air, but that seems out of line for a dealership.--Good Luck getting fixed.

Sounds like a 300M I just seen at Tempe Dodge two weeks ago (Tempe, Az). Same problems you describe,,,,,,,,,,after many attempts to fix and many replaced parts,,,DC finally ok'd a new 3.5L motor for the car ($6500 for the engine). Believe it was a 2001 with around 30K miles on it.

Gary, the lemon law in Ga is only 1 year. There is a law on the books in where "failure to complete warranty repairs in a timely matter" may apply. I have been thinking on the range that AC is in that they may need to replace the engine since my wife said it started making a noise of some sort when she dropped it off. If they don't get it right this time I'm probably going to get legal involved.
