I know some of you have or had some modified Ram trucks. I am considering a 6" drop on a 2001 Ram 2500 diesel...who makes the best lowering kit?

Gary,
Thanks for the tip. I figured you would have some input.
It is 2WD.
I will check into Bell Tech. I see alot of stuff on the web for 1500 series but not alot for 2500 series. The additional weight of the cummins diesel up front is an additional concern on the availability of appropriate springs. Ride quality is important to me.

I used Ground Force springs, shackles and hangars on my '95 Ram 1/2 Ton.

On my '99 Dakota R/T I used Western Chassis lower A Arms, shackles and hangars, and a C Notch. Also Hotchkis sway bars and Doetsch Tech shocks.

On the '04 Dakota Quad Cab I used Hotchkis springs front and rear, sway bars, and Bilstein shocks tuned by Hotchkis.

I really like Hotchkis products, but all of the above worked well. Have Fun, Bill

Bill, Thanks for the info. I will check into those companies.

Gary, The house is clean as a whistle.
I've been thinking about your buddy (Mark Burke?) in El Cajon for the paint job on this project. I saw a PT he did and it was awesome. Killer graphics combined with marbling effects down the side...
