Saw a documentary on the Enzo today.

Replacing brake pads, $6,000.
Replacing Rotors, $25,000.

Special Shell oil required for this car, $60/qt. (requires 12 qts.)

Replacing Engine, $250,000.00

The rear tires are $325 and cheaper than the Viper tyres,,,,,,

so with labor, it's about $1,000 for an oil change?!?

...and Marty would be $750,000 into the car as he would be on his 3rd motor...

Car costs $650,000 IF YOU HAD BEEN ON THE LIST (cost to you and me from someone on the list is more like $1.5+ million)

There is a lot of talk about the auto manufacturers building hybrid cars for the future. One thing they fail to tell you is that when you eventually have to replace the battery packs, the cost is very high. Today, they are in the $3,000 range! Ouch.....not a DieHard!
