Last year just before the Smokies event someone hit our brand new Dodge Ram and did not leave a note. $1200 Damage to the passenger door. Right after the Smokies we had the close encounter with the siding in the road in September and had to get the Prowler repainted. Last October the Ram was not even out of the shop for 24 hours from getting the door damage repaired and Linda had an accident which was not her fault. This time there was $15,000 damage. The body shop I took it to ran into financial problems (a very long story) and could not afford the the parts to repair it. After 5 months I was finally able to regain possession and move it to another body shop. I saw it last Thursday and the repairs are complete and it just needs to be painted and reassembled. We should get it back this week.
Last night we went to Cirque Du Soleil and someone side swiped our new Durango. It's going to need a new front fender, running board and possibly a bumper. As we walked up I saw an older man writing us note. He was a retired Army Major and a nice guy. At least this one won't come out of our insurance. We are beginning to think we are jinxed.

Remind me later not to sit next to you at the next POA dinner that I show up for. WOW, you have every right to suspect that you just might be jinxed.

Rich - if it wasn't for bad luck,,,you wouldn't have any luck at all. Sorry to hear of your problems and can understand how you feel that it will never end.

Out here in the west,,,,,we have so many people who drive without any car insurance at all I try and stay near the newer cars out on the freeway, feeling more comfortable around people who probably do have car insurance.

Rich,

Sorry to hear about all the bad luck. But at least you didn't mention anyone being hurt. Hang in there. It will get better.

Rich - I sure that'sthe end of the bad luck streak for you & Linda. I don't know about the other vehicles, but the Prowler came out looking great once allthe repairs were completed!
