....I have owned several winged cars, Daytonas and Superbirds, including the first Daytona shipped in the USA.....I still have a great fascination for these cars....they were designed for one purpose, TO RACE......they got more looks than anything I ever drove till I got my first Prowler a few years back....I recently found some pictures that I had never seen before....sort of reminds me of the Prowler/Viper phenomenon(Reliable Trucking in the early days ???)....thought these might give some of the younger dogs here a glimpse into the MOPAR of yesteryear.....




and a pix of the first Daytona shipped in the USA.....I purchased this car from a guy in Lancaster,Pa area....it had 6,600 original miles and was one of 3 documented "dealer installed" 440-SIX PAKS known to exist....and yes, I sold it
