Well, today was such a beautiful sunny day, and I was feeling a little depressed and wanted to get some attention, so at lunch, I walked out to the back parking lot and snuck one of Mike K's trucks out from his collection. I figured he would never notice it was gone. I just wanted to drive it for a little while. I was just running up to Jack in the Box and back. Well, I got what I was looking for. Everywhere I went everyone was looking at me and pointing and smiling. I felt just like the king of the road. I was almost back to the museum, making a turn, when I turned a little wide. Well, as we all know, you can't see just where the front corner of the truck is, and I ended up barely sliding across the front quarter panel of another guy's truck sitting at the stop sign. He went across the street into the parking lot of the museum. I had to do a u-turn to turn around and go meet him to straighten the matter out. Well, as you can imagine, right about now my day has gone right down the drain. I knew I would never make it back to work on time, and I was too far away from Don Ward's shop to "hopefully" get the truck fixed and back in the museum line-up before Mike noticed it missing. Talk about freaking out!!! I didn't know what to do so I called Johnny to come help me out of this jam, and he was there in an instant. He opened up the museum so we could go inside (where we wouldn't be seen) and looked over the damage. The guy told me to just write him a check for the $60,000.00 it would take to repair the crease I put in the little chrome emblem on his quarter panel. While I was writing the check, I heard a motor running and went to the other side of the truck to see what it was. Well, the guy called his friend to come look at all the neat cars and trucks in the museum, and the guy had put his son on Mike's Harley and was taking pictures. I promptly got the kid off the bike while Johnny shut it down, I gave the guy his check, and shuffled them all out and sent them on their way. Then I went back inside & told Johnny that I needed help figuring out what to do with Mike's truck. As soon as he found out I was in Mike's truck, he hi-tailed it outta there, leaving me stranded in the museum, and I didn't know how to lock it up or anything... I'm REALLY in a heap of trouble now!!! (Then I woke up, heart beating hard, breathing fast, shaking and scared, and thought... Thank GOD it was just a dream!!!)

Figured it had to be a dream - no trucks at the museum!

Now tonight try to dream about the June drag races. Picture the fastest time by the black kat with blue flames and round headlights.....
