My two granddaughters (7 & 9) came in yesterday from NY to visit for the week. They're big Lady UConn fans and today I took them down to New Orleans. Hoop City was set up inside the Superdome and was open for the first three days of the Final Four. The Women's Final will be tomorrow night next door in the arena... There were lots of basketball games & courts for the kids & adults to play on. In addition to the games, there were autograph sessions, clinic for the kids conducted by the coaching staff from Middle TN State and other exhibits on NCAA Women's basketball. We even had the battle of the bands & cheerleader squads between UT & UConn... UT won this contest -- although officially they called it a tie and said it would be settled tomorrow night on the court...
Here's some pics...

There favorite game was the Bungee Dunk... You had a harness and tied to a Bungee rope. You took off running across the mattress and had to try & dunk the basketball into a low net... They weren't strong enough to get to the other end. But, after pulling the Bungee cord tight, it would pull you back like a big rubber band...
