Those photo's were posted last year.......poor guy...buy more car than he can handle

This happens more than you can believe. One reason there were SO MANY late 60 early 70 Muscle cars made and SO FEW left.

But if you look at the Vipers, Vettes and all the other HIGH PERFORMANCE cars out there that are in salvage yards with less than a 1,000 miles with salvage titles.

I heard a story of a lady that bought a Viper. The day she took delivery it was raining. They offered to deliver the car, but she wanted to drive it home.........she didn't make it home with the car. Within a few miles of the dealer she lost it in a curve.

As expensive as that car is, DO YOU THINK IT WAS TOTALED?

Larry I heard that same story here in Georgia. I am thinking this may be an Urban Legend.

I remembered those pictures. That happened at Road Atlanta. I was out there the day after the accident happened for Panoz Racing School (I think that happened on 02/22/03). There was a website, I forgot where, but the owner of the car was getting a private driving session before the Panoz school, and that's when he wrecked the lambo. But from what I heard/read, he did get his $$$ back from the insurance, don't ask me how...

That turn on the track is one scary turn, I've seen alot of nice rides loose control at that turn!

Perhaps there were others but, I posted about a lady that did the above. I know cause I was trying to buy the yellow gts and this lady came in off the streets and bought it for sticker. The car she traded in was a Toyota (corolla, I believe). She had also never driven a stick before.

I went back to the dealer a few days later and he told me and showed me the car. Something like $37K worth of damage.

....I went to Panoz school there a couple of years ago.....that turn in the scariest turn I ever raced on....like dropping over the top of a ferris wheel at full throttle and staying in the gas all the way thru the turn to hit the straight.....VERY INTIMIDATING to say the least....
