have aol,time to say goodbye.need new isp.forget cox.also must have dsl.net zero doesnt have dsl.any recommendations helpful.whats the best at a reasonable price.------------------

I'm no expert, but aren't you dependent on who has cables in the ground in your neighborhood to get cable internet service? DSL speed is dependent on your distance from a central switch (or some techie sounding thing) for high speed service. I think you may be limited by what your cable service provider has in your yard and what your distance to the phone companies' facilities is.

You might look at Earthlink. I have them for my dialup but have heard good things about their DSL. They occasionally run specials for newbies. If you go with them, give them my email addy and I'll get a month free (or something like that) for sending you there.
