All of a sudden I cannot download pictures that other people are posting. Everything else loads immediately but some of the pictures never load. Some pictures load some of the time, but not all of the time. I tried defragmenting. What else should I try. I also "system restored" and that did not help, either.
Make it REAL simple so even I might try it.

Not sure what operating system you are using Ed, so things vary... butttttttttt.......
(assuming you are beyond Windows 3.1... hehehe) try opening your homepage... then Tools, Internet Options, Security settings..... check those to make sure that you do not have settings there that would prevent pictures from this site... that would be my first guess on what might be wrong.

Geno, I think it is 6.0 or 6.1. I am getting most pictures but not every time. I get the picture of the bumper hitch measurement that Andy posted, most of the time but not every time. I have never seen the next picture he posted.
In other words it is very inconsistent.

Ed,

I've experiensed those kind of issues as well at work. We stillhavn't figured it out (did I mention I'm in charge of the IT dept???) but we beleive it has to do with throughput or our ISP. Check and see if you get differnt results durring the work day when not as many personal users are on the cable assuming you are still roadrunner. If so, call your ISP and tell them to resolve the issue.

Ed - I'm not one to give out intelligent computer help, but Lethia's computer was doing the same thing. Go back to Andy's post of two pictures,,,,,,,one comes up, right?,,,,,while there click on the 'refresh' area and see what happens. That worked on her computer,,,but doesn't solve the problem.

Bill, I thought of that. It will post one picture and then I try it again in 30 seconds and it will not post that picture. I just tried A/C's suggestion, no help.
I am usually on the computer when others are not on it but I have tried Andy's picture at least 30 times, day, eveing, middle of the night without ever seeing it. I thought about trying it in the morning but I was not interested enough to get up to try it in the morning. lol.
