I'll be in the LA area at the end of the month. It's Boyd Coddington's 25th anniversary celebration and my son and I are gonna join the party. Not sure who is in the area and if anybody would like to have a cocktail or whatever, lemme hear from you. OH! 26th - 28th

Here is the trip I made from Northern California to Southern California. Larry Lord scheduled a Boyds cruise and I believe was a record holder for the most prowlers to ever show to a one day deal...

Have fun... If I was closer, I would meet you there...

I know there are a whole bunch or prowler owners in Southern Cali...

Later...

George, Cathi and I should be able to make it also. Will send you a pm.

Cliff, Let me know your plans. If you leave from the house, maybe Cathi and I will go down with you. One question though.... If you and Gina go down the evening of the 26th, will you still be able to get back into town? Don't they roll up the sidewalks after dark in Piru?

Anyone else able to make it???

George,

I can make it Friday night as well. Your hardtop will be shipped out on Monday, 3/22. I don't think it will get to you before you leave for CA. It takes about 5 - 7 days to get to you by truck. If it were to arrive on Monday the 29th, will someone be there to accept it? I can hold off a few days to ship it just to make sure are back from your trip to CA? I'll call you on Monday to confirm! Look forward to meeting you in person.

Norb, just FYI, a couple of years ago when you shipped mine, it arrived in 2 days. They shipped it by air to a local trucking company and I just drove the cat to the trucking company and picked it up there.
Sometimes when you pay for ground shipment, they still send it air if they have extra room in the plane.

Jim didn't you see the notice in the Ventura County newspaper?

Due to budget cutbacks, sidewalks in Piru, will no longer be rolled up after dark. Pedistrians are to use caution when walking after dark. Prowlers are known to be present.

Sidewalks??? When did we get sidewalks? I really must spend more time at home

Jim - I should be able to leave town about 5:30-6... that will put us in the heat of some traffic but it will make it fun for all those stuck in it... they can stare at our kats as we inch down the highway

Lets go down together... it will be great to see you guys again and since we will be leaving the county we should be okay

Cliff, Sorry I couldn't hook up with you guys for dinner Friday night. George and Will came over to Metalcrafters on Saturday for the nickel tour of our facility. I showed George and his son, Will, how his hardtop is being manufactured and a few special treats that just happened to be here at the shop during his visit. Just happened to have the "ME FourTwelve prototype" & "Jeep Rescue Concept" car here for George and Will to see up close.

George,

Hope your trip home was a good one. You and Will are welcome at Metalcrafters any time!
