I LOVE that show......my favorite show and one of the very few that I watch......tape it on TIVO in case I have to miss it..........and yes, I'm from that era also. It's one of the few decent shows on TV.

It's a great, down-to-earth series that reflects what it was like to live in that era (as a lot of us did) and with the social and political issues of that time. The Vietnam war, racism, everyday growing-up problems...a very grown-up and updated version of some of the old favorites like Ozzie and Harriett, Father Knows Best, etc. with American Bandstand as a plus. No nudity, swearing or crap like that!

I must be living in a cave. I've been back in the US since Aug and I've never heard of this show. I detest sitcoms and game shows and reality TV so I don't turn on the TV much. Will give it a try in a few weeks. I'm heading off to Mozambique on vacation Wednesday and they don't have much TV.

For you Viet Nam-era folks, anybody else see Fog of War? It's primarily about Def Sec McNamera and it's a documentary.
