My "sources" called just called and informed me that GRROWL is at Lowe's Home Improvement Center. We've got beautiful blue skies here with temps in the high 50's and GRROWL is Prowlin with the top down.

I guess I'm a celebrity now, WOW! If I ever need a detective . . . .

Just got home, went to Lowe's to pick up a Porter-Cable 7336SP Dual-Action Sander/polisher combo - the PROFESSIONAL way to give GRROWL a new shine! Lowe's is reported to be the best place nationally to buy for this amazing item (if you're interested, post here and I'll tell you the easy way to get a discount on anything from Lowe's and you don't have to get their credit card).

We should meet some time - it's about time for BT161 to get the itch and set something up at Twin Kiss or something.

Later.

Lowe's is better organized than Home Depot so of course I'd be interested in saving some$$$. I'd also be interested in the sander..or I mean polisher!

I'm heading to Mozambique on Wednesday and should be back around the first of April. Hopefully we can hook up then.

Did you take your kat with you? I've always dreamed of driving to Africa but there seem to always be missing sections in my AAA triptiks

In Africa and in Nepal and India, I drove a Mitsubishi 4X4 that they don't sell in the US. It's called a Pajero (yip, another cat). They are very rugged and stand up to anything AFRICA can dish out. They'll jerk a house off its foundation (ok, that's an exaggeration...) That's what usually wins the Paris to Dakar road race. In Mozambique and in Angola, if you get off the road you're likely to run over a land mine! There are more active land mines still in the ground than people living in the country! I know when we were removing mines in Angola several years ago some mines are designed with light-sensitive cells on top so that when you located the mine and dug it out, the sun hitting the cell caused it to go off. Not good for the person trying to neutralize the mine! So there's no way to remove them without them blowing. So you better get those AAA pages replaced if you drive there! Still, there are some pretty awesome places to see in Africa...and lots of big kitties!

I was wondering why I was scratching so much! It's almost time for some type of cruise...the weather is on the verge of breaking....and it looks more promising than last year...with so much rain...not many windows of opportunity.

1) Cruise to naked Mountain Winery or Grey Ghost...or that other winery just over the bridge......(Grey Ghost?)

2) Spring Fling in Leonardtown is going down next month I think. I have to keep an eye out for show time. Last year was a lot of fun. See my scrapbook in Events 03.

I want to start some Prowler cruising goodness next month...the weather should be nice for some trips by then....I'm busting my hump on the house NOW so there's not much Spring work to do. My garage is almost done except for the floor...I need some warm weather so the tile glue will set right.

I'm looking to small cruises more than events where you just park and sit all day. I'd like to cruise a bit...park/ eat/ BS...then cruise a bit more....a good leisurley pace without too much crammed in the day.

I'm brewing some ideas, and will see what sounds good to all....

Must of missed ya on the road. I was at Lowes Sat. afternoon and across the road at Sams Club (parked for about an hour) prowling in my Black Kat on Saturday. Was also prowling up by Circuit City; doing some shopping.

Actually a female friend spotted a yellow Prowler at Lowes and called me at work on her cell. She was VERY excited about seeing a yellow one, but more excited to see my Orange one... Don't know how she missed yours. She loves Prowlers. By-the-way, she's my bosses wife...

Anyway, I'm looking forward meeting some area Prowler owners in April. Do you realize my Prowler is the only Prowler I've ever seen in person? Seems odd, but it's true.

Looking forward to meeting you Bob. I'll be sure to include you in any cruise or meets. GRROWL can keep you up to date on events too, as he knows my every move (damn spy cameras he put in my bathroom...LOL). I'm just over the bridge from you...sort of. I had 8 Prowlers meet me just 4 days after getting mine. It was sensory overload! I didn't know who to talk to first or what mod to look at first....just mind boggling.

Hey un,

We were crossing paths, but when I went back on Saturday morning, it was in the van to pick up a bunch of stuff. I also went to WalMart (next door to Sam's) and might have seen you when I left (drove out through Sam's parking lot) but I was probably gone by the time you arrived. GRROWL and I were in the Circuit City area on Friday (Advance Auto), but again too early.

WE WILL MEET!

Yes, Bob,

That's the usual effect on women.
