Is this a scam? I have seen this being advertised for a while. I wonder how much would someone pay to advertise on a prowler. I wanted to get a few new mods for the car and could use the extra $.

I read about this once and it depends on your area. You have to put in so many logged miles a day on busy roads to collect your payment. There are some advertising cars around here that I always see in the parkway.

I have read about this. They want high visability cars to put ads on. You are required to drive (12,000 miles was what I read)so much a year to qualify.Yes it could be a good money maker if you meet the requirements and don't mind the ad's on your car. I have seen a few around Indy a few years back

I have been told the success of the program depends on keeping advertising companies long term.

I see them once in awhile around town. Mostly Beetles but some PT Cruisers, too.

I've seen a couple Hummer H2's.The problem is, they typically want ALOT of advertising space (Hummer's completely wrapped) and yes, you do have to put ALOT of miles on the car DAILY. I think they attach a GPS or something to track you (like with 18 wheelers) so you just can't say, "Sure, I'll do it." You actually have to drive not only alot, but, routes where alot of folks will see (ie. rush hours and such). There is no free lunch. What you will end up with is a very used car at the end of the deal
