AC....ended up being in Phoenix just a couple of days, wife was on business there for her bank in Indiana....I cruised the auto dealerships and looked at cars for a day, and we ate out a bunch(I always eat well on the "bank weasels" expense account)....I tried to do business on a Chevy SSR in Scottsdale on Bell Road/F.L Wright I think, they told me it was at list, failed to mention it was THEIR LIST, not manufacturers list price, they wanted $56K, I walked.....tried to find your name & address in a phone book, no listing for "ALLEY CAT".....so we drove to Vegas and spent a week there....MGM is taking down the big gold lion statue out front and replacing it with a statue of me....I lost nearly $200. in 5 days.....sure takes a long time at a nickel a pop

Larry - if you only lost $200.....consider yourself very lucky. There is a sucker for every seat at the casinos.

Sorry we missed you. I'm in the phone book as: Hairy One

I would have passed on the SSR as well. Lots in the Phx area,,,,with dealer plates or Mich manufacturer plates,,,,but none with regular plates. Maybe the jacked up price is keeping them GM owned,,,ya think? You'll find one cheaper, I'm sure.

Maybe another day to meet! Sorry we didn't hook up,,,,I enjoy free lunches on the banks

AC,
....I just thought if I got a good deal on the SSR I would buy it and drive it home to Indiana....then dump it....don't really want one to keep.....we sorta changed our plans in flight.....we were going to spend alot of time in Phx and a little in Vegas....it got reversed....(I was out voted by "Crash Car Annie")....she found out we could spend more money faster in Vegas than Phx

Very nice car, but it would REALLY look striking in Orange, AND it would be faster!!!
